Terms of use

A guide — not a verdict.

By using Manam you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, not to bury the things that matter. Please read them before relying on any interpretation.

What Manam is

Manam helps Muslims reflect on their dreams in the light of the Sunnah, drawing on classical scholarly sources. It is a study and reflection aid. It is not a religious authority and it does not issue fatwas or binding rulings. Dreams cannot establish or override Islamic rulings.

Interpretations are not a verdict

How interpretation works

When you request an interpretation, the text of your dream and the context you provide are sent to Anthropic to generate the reading. By using the interpretation feature, you understand and accept that your submission is processed by this third-party service. How your data is handled is described in our Privacy & data page.

Acceptable use

Sources & attribution

Manam synthesizes and cites classical works of dream interpretation. All citations belong to their original authors and translators. The synthesis and presentation are provided for your personal study and should not be republished as the original scholars' verbatim work.

No warranty

Manam is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that interpretations are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manam and its makers are not liable for any decisions you make, or harm you experience, as a result of relying on an interpretation or otherwise using the service. Your use of Manam is at your own discretion.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Manam develops. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Manam after a change means you accept the updated terms.
