Dreams and Interpretations (Ibn Sireen, Hathurani tr.) · p. 51

The growing of any unknown greenery in a place where it does not normally grow such as a house or masjid, suggests that a man will come along either to seek in marriage the hand of his daughter or to establish a business partnership with him. Dry Grass: Dry grass serves as a harbinger for receiving gold in the near future. Imaam Muhammad Bin Sireen (RA) used to refer to grass as pure gold. Once, when he was presented with a camel load of dry grass, he looked at it for a long time, then said: "I wish I had seen this in my dream!", for then he would have received gold.
