Unknown birds are indicative of joyful news and angels. A man said to Ibn Sireen: I dreamt that a bird dropped from the skyand landed on my head and in front of me. He said: Good news willcome to you and you will rejoice. If a person dreams that birds fly above his head, he will attainleadership because Allah says: "And (so did) the birds assembled, all obedient to him[Dawood (David)] [i.e. they came and glorified Allah's Praisesalong with him]." [Saad 38:19] And it was said: If a person dreams that birds are flying, this signifiesangels.
