Slaughter

In a dream, slaughter means displeasing one's parents, or it could mean injustice. If one sees himself in a dream slaughtered, he should pray hard and seek refuge in God Almighty to help him. If one sees corpses of slaughtered people scattered around him in a dream, it means profits and achievement of his goals. Seeing slaughtered people in a dream also may mean that they have gone astray. If one sees a man or a butcher slaughtering him in a dream, it means that he will triumph over his assailant. If he is imprisoned, it means that he will be set free. If he is seized by fear, it means that he will reach safety and regain his equanimity and peacefulness. If he is a war captured prisoner, it means that he will be set free. If he is a leader, it means that his sovereignty will widen. Slaughtering someone in a dream means being unjust toward him. Slaughtering a pigeon in a dream means getting married. Cutting a piece of flesh from one's backside in a dream means that he engages in sodomy. If one finds himself slaughtered but does not know who killed him in the dream, it means that he is an innovator, or it could mean that he will forge a testimony. Murdering one's own father or mother in a dream means disobeying them or assaulting them and becoming damned. To slaughter a woman in a dream means adultery, or eliciting sexual intercourse with her. To slaughter a fowl or the female of any bird or animal in dream means deflowering a young girl. To slaughter a son in a dream means that such a son is ruthless and unjust toward his parents. The basic principle is that slaughter, if it is with regard to somethingthat it is not permissible to slaughter, represents wrongdoing, becausewrongdoing is indicative of doing something inappropriate. This dreamindicates that the slaughterer is calling the victim to misguidance. Aman said to Ibn Sireen: I dreamt that I killed a boy and roasted him. Hesaid: You are going to commit wrongdoing towards this boy by callinghim to something Haraam and he will obey you in that. If a person dreams that he ate some of his flesh that was cooked, hewill get something good from him. A man said to Ibn Sireen: I dreamt that I slaughtered my sister. Hesaid: You have cut off ties with her. A man said: I dreamt that a man slaughtered his wife. He said: Thisman should have come yesterday from a journey and had intercoursewith h is wife. And that is what happened. If the dreamer sees a ruler killing a man and putting him on the neckof the dreamer without his head, this means that the ruler is wrongingthat one who was killed until he made him poor, then he will ask theone who is carrying him to pay some penalties which will be more orless according to how heavy or light the slain person is. Moreover, if theslain person is recognized, then he is the one who will be wronged; ifhe is not known and he is an old man, the dreamer will b e asked to paythe penalty of behalf of a friend; if (the slain person) is a young man, hewill be asked to pay a penalty of behalf of an enemy. If the slain personstill has a head, he will not be asked to pay a penalty. Slaughter with something other than t he correct tool is indicative of being appointed as a judge, because the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: " Whoever is appointed as a judge has been slaughteredwithout a knife. " A king dreamt that he slaughtered someone with a pen. ShaykhShihaab - ud - Deen sa id to him: you will make him a judge. And heappointed him as a judge. Slaughtering a child is indicative of fulfilling vows and of glory andstatus, because of the story of Isma'eel (May Allah be please with him) . He said: If a person dreamsthat he slaughte red his son, that is indicative of fulfilling vows or goingfor Hajj, or it may mean that he will arrange his son's marriage, upholdties of kinship and render back trusts.
