Mucus and Sputum

Shaykh Shihaab-ud-Deen said: If there is a lot of mucus, it isindicative of worries especially if it contaminates his clothes. Spittingmay be indicative of bad words. Someone else said: Mucus is indicative of a child, because thereis a story that the cat was created from the mucus of the lion when itsneezed! And it was said: If a person dreams that he blows his nose, he willpay off his debts and be saved from every distress. If his wife blowsher nose on him, she will have a boy or will wean a boy. If she blowsher nose in a man's bed, that man will betray the dreamer with his wife. Eating mucus indi cates that he will consume his son's wealth. If hedreams that he blows his nose on an animal's ear, the child of someoneelse will be attributed to him. Sputum indicates a man's wealth; if there is blood with it then it isHaraam wealth. If he dreams that he spits on a wall, he will spend hiswealth on Jihad and trade. If he spits on the ground, he will buy a farm. If he spits on a person, he will be put off by him. Hot sputum is indicative of a long life and cold sputum is indicativeof death. Dry sputum is al so indicative of death. If sputum comes outof his mouth and does not land on any part of his body, and he seespeople taking it with their hands, it indicates that he is messing aboutwith people. If he sees blood with it, it signifies that his deeds are mix edwith lies. If he dreams that water is flowing from his mouth, he will have alife of plenty. Phlegm signifies accumulated wealth that does not help. If he dreamsthat he coughs up phlegm and he is sick, then he will recover.
