Iron

In a dream, iron represents longevity. If one sees himself holding a piece of iron in his dream, it means wealth and strength after poverty and weakness. If one sees himself eating a piece of iron in a dream, it means victory in his life. If he eats it with bread in the dream, it means bearing difficulties in his livelihood. Discovering iron as a mineral in a dream means prosperity and strength in one's livelihood. Forging iron in a dream means becoming competent and qualified in one's craft. Iron represents wealth and power. A man said to Ja'far al - Saadiq:I dreamt that my son gave me a piece of iron and a drink of vinegar. Hesaid to him: You are going to teach your son the craft of Dawood and you wi ll get wealthy during a lengthy sickness. If the dreamer looks for a metal and finds in it snakes or fire, or hesees an evil snake or smoke, the person indicated by it is bad. If hebenefits from that in which he found snakes, he will have some relieffrom t he person who deals in that. If he finds snakes in it, he will haverelief from a man who is a snake charmer or who makes antidotes. Ifhe finds smoke in it and benefits from it, he will find relief from a cookor an oven keeper. If he finds dust in it that i s not from that metal, hewill find relief from a new king or from one who is travelling or from astrange man or strange woman.
