A headgear in a dream means a presidency, travels, or marriage. If one receives a headgear, or a tiara in a dream, it means that he may undertake a distant trip. If one wears a headgear in his dream, it means that he may hold a seat in the government. If one is accustomed to wearing a headgear then wearing it in a dream represents his superior, the governor, his brother, his father, his uncle, his teacher, or a scholar, for they all have equal right upon him. Wearing a dirty and a worn out headgear in a dream means sorrow, difficulties and distress. If one's headgear is stripped off his head, or if it falls to the ground in a dream, it means the death of his superior, or any of the abovementioned people. If a king offer someone a headgear or a tiara in a dream, it means that he will have the power to appoint people in different administrations. If a mishap befall one's headgear or the turban of an Imam in a dream, it will reflect upon his faith and the state of his congregation. Wearing a black turban in a dream means authority, or it could mean sitting in thejudges' bench. Wearing a headgear which is topped with a white feather in a dream means becoming a leader. Wearing a headgear that is made from animal fur or hide in a dream means becoming unjust and blinded to one's own injustice, or it could portray the wicked personality of one's superior at work. Al-Bakri Al-Qafsi
Wearing headgear, such as turbans, is indicative of the noble descentof the person's people and the dearest part of his wealth which isvisible, as well as his high status. The turban and Taylasaan (a shawllikegarment) are indicative of position and leadership for one who isqualified for that. A white cap is indicative of sound religious commitment andhonor; a black cap is indicative of a prominent position; a green capis indicative of strong religious commitment, and for an unmarriedwoman it signifies a husband, as does a head-cover, and for a pregnantwoman it is indicative of a son. Whatever happens to headgear such as holes, cuts, dirt or beingstolen is indicative of some shortcoming or defect that will occur eitherin his position or wealth or honour, or something that will happen tosome of his children or relatives of sickness and the like, and the sickloved one may die, or he may have trouble with his property or gardenor slaves. Wearing a turban on the foot or around one's middle, or wearingone's pants as a turban is indicative of trouble and poverty, and ofputting things in inappropriate places. The same is true of all garmentsthat are worn in the wrong place. A man said: I dreamt that I put an embroidered turban on my foot. Shaykh Shihaab-ud-Deen said to him: You had intercourse with yourmother. He said: I was drunk. Another man dreamt that and he said: Your head will be cut off in afight and will end up underfoot. Another man said: I dreamt that I wore a sandal on my head. Hesaid: Is someone harming you? He said: Yes. He said: You will havepain in your head because of being hit with a sandal.
