Ghusl

Ghusl, if it is completed, indicates that he will get what he wants. Itis also indicative of purity from sin and freeing oneself of distress. If hedreams that he did Ghusl and put on a new white garment, and he hadbeen dismissed, he will be returned to his post; if he was poor he willbecome independent of means, if he was sick he will recover, if he wasin prison he will get out, and if he was in debt he wil l pay off his debts. That is based on the story of Ayyoob (May Allah be please with him) : when he washed himself andput on new garments, Allah restored his family and wealth to him, andhe became healthy and his worries disappeared.

If a person dreams that he did Ghusl with clean water that wascold in summer or hot in winter, it is indicative of debts being paidoff and needs being met, because the dirt that is causing annoyance isbeing removed. It may also be indicative of being on good terms withprominent people, because after that he stands before Allah, may He beExalted, to pray. If he does Ghusl with dirty water or with cold water in winter or hotwater in summer, that is indicative of troubles, poverty, diseases andimprisonment. If he dreams that he washed himself, it indicates thathis clan will be relieved of distress and grief, and that their wealth willincrease, because his limbs are indicative of his relatives. If he dreamsthat a man washed him properly, he will repent at his hands from sin. In dream interpretation, the one who washes the deceased representsa helpful man who saves people from distress. A man said: I dreamt that I was washing the dead. Shaykh Shihaabud-Deen said to him: You will become a bathhouse attendant. A womandreamt that and he said: You will become a midwife, carrying babieswho cannot do anything, like the dead. And it all turned out as he said.If he dreams that he is on the washing board, he will rise in statusand his worries will disappear. If he dreams that a dead person askedsomeone to wash his clothes, it indicates that he (the deceased) wantssomething to be given in charity or a debt to be paid or a will to beexecuted. If he dreams that someone washed his clothes for him, itindicates that that man is going to cause some reward to reach him.
