Fortresses are indicative of protection. Destruction of a fortress signifies corruption of religiouscommitment, and taking a fortress may indicate showing loyalty to aman of prominent position; destruction of the fortress may indicatehis death or may signal that the prominent man is turning against him,because people usually use the high position of others to protect theirwealth and themselves and to reach their goals.
