Fancy belts

This is the adornment of the Turks who wear it around their waistsabove their clothes, and they make it all gold. The finest is made of goldand it may be made of silver and plated with gold. Shaykh Shihaab-ud-Deen said: For one who is not working itsignifies employment; for a king it signifies troops and slaves, and thethings attached to it represent his senior slaves. It is also indicative of a woman and the things attached to it signify her trousseau. He said: It isindicative of employment because it is mostly used by those who workas servants. It is indicative of troops for one for whom that is appropriate,because he tied it around his middle and in it there are stripes that arenext to one another, so it looks like ranks of troops and slaves. It isindicative of a woman's trousseau because it is an adornment. The adornments are things like chains and colors which are lined uptogether and attached to it. If a person dreams that his belt is damagedor broken, he will be faced with trouble. If it belongs to a King, he willlose his troops or some of them, or he will lose his slaves. If it belongsto someone else, he will lose his livelihood or his job, or his wife orslave woman will leave him. A man said: I dreamt that I put on a fine belt underneath my garmentand I was happy with it, and it had nothing attached to it. ShaykhShihaab-ud-Deen said: You will have a secret affair with a soldier'swife and no one will know about you; she is tall with soft, smooth skinand she has a small child who walks with her. He said: Did you discussmarriage with her? He said: Yes. He said: It will not happen. Another man said: I dreamt that I put a fancy belt on my pants wherethe drawstring usually goes. He said: In the middle of your house thereis a storey where you met the wife of a soldier and she did not let youhave your way with her. The evidence for that is that the drawstring islike a hidden place and the fact that she did not agree is because the beltdoes not go where the drawstring goes. And that is what happened.
