It was said t hat branding refers to finding treasure and spending it inways that represent disobedience towards Allah, because Allah says: ژ ڳڳڳڳ ژژگ And with it will be branded their foreheads, their flanks, andtheir backs." [Al-Tawbah 9:35] It is also indicative of the miserliness of the dreamer and that badwords are being said about him, and it may be a warning that somethingwill happen to him for which he will need cautery.
